How many surf sessions are included?
We include multiple surf sessions throughout the retreat, giving you plenty of time to learn, practice, improve, and fully enjoy the Atlantic Ocean.
Is surf equipment included?
es! All surf equipment needed for your lessons and sessions is included, including boards and wetsuits. Simply arrive ready to enjoy the experience—we’ll take care of the rest.
What if I’m nervous about surfing for the first time?
That’s completely normal—and very common. Many of our guests arrive feeling a little unsure at first, but our team is there to support you from the very beginning. We create a relaxed, encouraging environment where you can build confidence at your own pace and enjoy the experience without pressure.
Do I have to surf every day?
Not at all. The retreat is designed to be flexible. You can join the activities you enjoy and take as much time as you need to relax and recharge.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need cancel your trip, do it sooner like is late.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Full refund
- 30–59 days before arrival: 50% refund (deposit non-refundable)
- Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund
Please note that refunds cannot be provided for unused retreat days, late arrivals, missed flights, baggage delays, visa issues, transport disruptions, or strikes.
For safety reasons, surf lessons and activities may sometimes be changed, delayed, or cancelled because of weather or ocean conditions. These decisions are always made with our guests’ safety in mind and are not refundable.
If Salty Escape ever needs to cancel a retreat due to exceptional circumstances or insufficient participants, all payments made will be fully refunded.
How does payment work?
To secure your booking, a 50% deposit of chosen selection is required.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than one month before your arrival date.
Is there an age limit?
We welcome adults, typically from their early twenties onwards, who share a passion for travel, adventure, and meaningful experiences.

Will I have free time during the retreat?
Yes, it will. While the retreat includes plenty of activities, there’s also ample time to relax, explore the island, or simply do nothing at all. Afternoons are intentionally designed to give you space to unwind—whether that’s by the pool, at the beach, or discovering Fuerteventura at your own pace.
